New video on the MIT@Lawrence Story Project
This is so interesting. Lawrence and MIT were founded around the same time and have had a relationship over the years...an evolving relationship. The Lawrence Experiment Station, now known as the William X. Wall Experiment Station, was truly cutting edge when it was built in 1887 with the guidance of worldclass Sanitary Engineers from MIT. The city of Lawrence was the high tech capital after the Civil War. Lawrence High School has sent students to MIT for many years.
